Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following from a recognized University/Institute:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation.
  • B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of the basic streams mentioned above.
  • Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or combinations.
  • Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in the above basic streams or combinations.

2. Age Limit (as of 01.07.2024)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 36 Years*
  • (Includes a one-time 3-year relaxation due to the pandemic).
  • Category Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years).

Exam Pattern (CBT)

The selection is based on a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.

Important Instructions for Exam Day

  1. Mandatory Documents: Bring a printed copy of the Admit Card and an Original Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.).
  2. Aadhaar Authentication: Biometric authentication using Aadhaar will be conducted at the center. Ensure your Aadhaar is updated.
  3. Banned Items: Mobile phones, bluetooth devices, calculators, smartwatches, belts, and metallic jewelry are strictly prohibited.
  4. Reporting Time: Reach the venue at least 1 hour before the gate closing time mentioned on your admit card.
